**Newcastle United may have to prepare for an incoming bid for one of their fringe players if a report from Denmark is to be believed.**
As things stand right now, Newcastle only have two options at right back in Kieran Trippier and Emil Krafth, with Tino Livramento out injured. Although Harrison Ashby has returned to training, and could be an option if needed.
However, when Tino Livramento recovers from the injury he picked up against Arsenal earlier this season, Sweden international Krafth will drop down the pecking order again, and that's what FC Copenhagen are hoping for.
A report from Bold, via [Campo](https://campo.dk/2025/10/28/medie-f-c-koebenhavn-lurer-paa-premier-league-back/), has suggested that Copenhagen are 'ready to move' for the 31-year-old.

FC Copenhagen want Emil Krafth
------------------------------
Emil Krafth has been a very dependable squad player for Newcastle, especially under Eddie Howe.
The Swedish star deputised for Kieran Trippier early in his Newcastle career and looked like an entirely new player during that period.
He's never let the side down, but at the same time, never really wowed either, save for that brief period in 2022.
Newcastle won't pick up much money for selling Emil Krafth
----------------------------------------------------------
Selling Krafth wouldn't bring in much revenue for the club, especially as he's in the final year of his contract, but it could free up squad space and some of the wage bill, allowing Newcastle to source a replacement who is more likely to push Livramento for the starting spot.
After being dropped from the last Sweden squad, Krafth may look favourably on a move to play his way into Graham Potter's plans.
It may be a good move all around if it happens in January, but we'd definitely need a replacement, or Harrison Ashby may have to finally step up.
