Cleveland Browns Film Room: Isaiah Bond is Still Creating Big Play Opportunities

Over the past three games, Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond has caught a grand total of two passes for nine yards, including zero grabs over the past two weeks. Despite his lack of production, and the mental mistakes that he's making, Bond is still creating opportunities for chunk plays down the field, including this past week against the New England Patriots.

Bond has been thrust into a major role in the Browns offense despite being an undrafted free agent who joined the team basically at the very end of the Preseason. On the year, he's caught only 11 of 29 targets for 123 yards, and has done hardly anything over the past three games. However, functioning as the team's lone deep threat, Bond is doing his job, which is to get open for shot plays a few times per game. He did that once again against New England, even if none of them were converted.
