Man Utd travel to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend.
The Portuguese boss was under huge pressure to keep his job after United recorded their lowest ever Premier League finish and missed out on European competition last season, while they also recorded their worst start to a new league campaign in 32 years this time around.
It was suggested Amorim could lose his job had United lost to Sunderland earlier in the month, though they have since recorded three successive league wins, including a famous win at Anfield. It is still too early to gauge where United are at, though Gibbs-White believes it is good news for the Premier League if they return to their former glories.

Gibbs-White hails United transformation
Morgan Gibbs-White will hope to end Manchester United's resurgent run when they travel to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend. Ruben Amorim's side have won three successive matches in the competition ahead of their trip to the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Forest are themselves hoping for a dramatic turnaround after Ange Postecoglou was replaced by Sean Dyche in the dugout, with this weekend's match set to be his first Premier League home match in the new role. It will be an important match for both side's on Saturday, with Forest captain Gibbs-White impressed by what he has seen from Amorim.
Speaking ahead of the clash, he piled the praise on the United head coach for his recent transformation at Old Trafford. "It's been incredible to see. Obviously, they've been going through a tough time, the past couple of years,” he told Stan Sport.
"But they've stuck with the gaffer, and the past four or five games, you're really starting to see how Man United should be playing. You know, that grit and that determination to want to play for the badge, and I feel like it's been incredible to see. It's something that I feel like the league's missed."
