Taylor, who managed Albion to the third tier title in 2001-02, was back at the club where he launched his playing career.

But Canvey have struggled at the foot of the Isthmian League premier division.
He told BBC Radio Essex: "Lady Luck hasn't been kind to us this season but the position of the team is not good enough and I take total responsibility for that.
"I knew it wasn't going to be easy as we were a brand new team and the division is probably as strong as it's ever been.
"I wish the club and supporters well. They have got good people there that work extremely hard and deserve to have happier match days."
Canvey said: “Peter has a great history with the club and will always be welcome at future matches.”
