Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back from four successive Premier League defeats with a Carabao Cup victory. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace will be planning to pile on the misery by making it to the quarter finals over the Reds.
Arne Slot has seen his side struggle recently with domestic football, with losses to Manchester United, Brentford, Chelsea and Palace themselves in the Premier League. A 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt had boosted fan's hopes but they were brought back down to earth with a 3-2 loss to Brentford at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Palace have also saw their own struggles domestically and in Europe, with their last win coming on October 2 against Dynamo Kyiv.
