For the first time in a long time, the Broncos were on the good side of a blow-out. This allowed the backups on offense and defense to play significantly more than they normally do. This meant that only two players on either offense or defense played every snap. Those two were Alex Palczewski and Garett Bolles. Every other play at least got one series to rest (the Cowboys did the same at the end of the game).
Jarett Stidham and Alex Forsyth got their first snaps of the season with 4 on the final series. Calvin Throckmorton got three snaps as the 6th OL and then another four on the final series.
At RB JK Dobbins played 33, RJ Harvey 17, Tyler Badie 11 and Adam Prentice 10 snaps. Harvey touched the ball on 8 of his 17 snaps and scored three touchdowns on those snaps. Dobbins got the ball 17 times on his 33. Badie on got the ball once on his 11. Prentice only blocked, which is normal for him.

At TE Adam Trautman, Evan Engram, and Nate Adkins got 40, 27 and 16 snaps. They combined for four catches on five targets (all the catches were by Engram). Trautman was not targetted despite playing 40 snaps. It would be interesting to see how many of his snaps were passing snaps.
Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims, and Trent Sherfield played 53, 40, 35, 19 and 11 snaps at WR. Sutton, Franklin and Bryant combined for 12 catches on 18 targets. Mims was only targetted once and Sherfield was not targetted at all.
On defense Riley Moss had the most snaps with 72 (97%). The loss of Patrick Surtain after 36 snaps meant that Ja’Quan McMillan (46) and KAD (36) played the most snaps that they have in a game this season. Jahdae Barron played 15 snaps and got his first career INT.
At Safety Talanoa Hufanga played 71 snaps while Brandon Jones played 68. JL Skinner got 6 and Devon Key got 3.
At ILB Alex Singleton played 70 and Justin Strnad played 57. While Karene Reid and Jordan Turner both saw their first D snaps of the year with 3 on the final series.
At OLB Nik Bonitto, Jonathon Cooper, Dondrea Tillman, and Jonah Elliss played 40, 36, 36, and 37 snaps. This was the most even snap distribution that we have seen among the OLBs this season.
On the DL, the big lead allowed the coaches to rest Zach Allen (who got dinged up). He only played 44 snaps. Malcolm Roach led all DL guys with 49 snaps. Eyioma Uwazurike, John Franklin-Myers, and D.J. Jones played 36, 28 and 22 snaps. With the Cowboys in obvious passing situations most of the game, DJ Jones snaps were limited as he is the least effective pass rusher on the DL.
Only one player played more the 75% of the ST snaps and that was Devon Key. Skinner, Reid and PJ Locke all played 60% or more ST snaps.
PJ Locke was the only defender who played no defensive snaps, which is interesting considering he was a starter for the Broncos last season.
