This season has not been kind to FC Barcelona in terms of injuries and physical condition of their players. Unfortunately for the Catalan giants, many key players ended up being sidelined ahead of some crucial games as well.
Still, there is a lot of time left in the season, and the injured players will gradually return as well. In fact, Barça have received some great news recently in regards to the recovery of one of their most impactful players this season.
According to [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20251029/1002559666/avances-lewandowski-joan-garcia-dani-olmo.html), Spanish goalkeeper Joan Garcia has returned to training on the grass following his [knee injury](https://semprebarca.com/official-barcelona-star-suffers-knee-meniscus-tear-ruled-out-for-4-6-weeks/). A massive step in terms of his recovery, and it is definitely a big boost for Barça.
However, it does not mean that the player will be returning just yet, though. In fact, the report claims that the club intends to be patient with him and not force him back too early.
To do that, FC Barcelona will reportedly wait until the end of the upcoming international break in November before he returns.
Either way, it is great news for the team and for the player as well. Garcia’s defensive quality, his passing ability, and overall presence have been quite missed recently, given the fact that the club is now conceding a lot more goals compared to when he was in between the sticks.
