As the Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers traded blows Tuesday night, the Capital One Arena crowd rose and fell, unable to come to a consensus.

The closest they got, of course, was with chicken on the line. Fans pelted Tyrese Maxey with boos before his first free throw, roared when the 76ers guard missed it, and gave a deflated “aww” after he made the second — denying them a Chick-fil-A giveaway for a pair of missed foul shots. Maxey, who scored 39 points, returned to the free throw line in overtime to seal Philadelphia’s comeback win.
