Although former Coventry star Matt Jensen has advised the player to stay on and not disrupt his chances of playing at next year’s World Cup.
US national team boss Mauricio Pochettino brought him back to the squad recently. He also scored twice during the international break. Therefore, Wright being on the 23-man World Cup squad is close to being a reality.
For now, the Leeds faithful can only wait and watch on how the saga unfolds when January rolls by.
