Packers OL Gets Nominated For Notable NFL Honor

The Green Bay Packers are one of the best teams in the NFL this season.

Their great work has also gone beyond the field.

One player in particular has done an outstanding job of supporting the troops and is up for a prestigious honor.

“The Packers’ nominee for the 2025 Salute to Service Award is offensive lineman Darian Kinnard. Kinnard supported the Wounded Warrior Project through the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative. Yesterday, he also participated USO Day of the Deployed Little Heroes Celebration,” Weston Hodkiewicz wrote on X.

The Packers are aiming for a big prize as well, heading toward the playoffs as the current leaders in the NFC North.

They’ve looked like the most dominant team in the league when they’ve faced playoff-caliber competition, handling the Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders and Pittsburgh Steelers.

On the other hand, their tendency to play down to their opposition’s level is something they will need to clean up over the remainder of the season.

Wins against the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals were much closer than they should’ve been, and there was no reason they should’ve lost to the Cleveland Browns and tied the Dallas Cowboys.

Green Bay entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations, and with a stacked roster and a young quarterback playing at the highest level of his career, it has everything it needs to fulfill that goal.

The Packers just need to stay focused and make sure they don’t look past any opponent.

In the meantime, Kinnard will continue to help those who serve the country and make a difference off the field.
