At the midpoint of the NFL season, the sample size is big enough to discuss who is a contender and who is a pretender.
With that in mind, FOX Sports analyst Tom Brady shared the updated version of his power rankings.
The legendary quarterback has a longtime rival at the top, with the Indianapolis Colts at No. 1, followed by the Detroit Lions at No. 2.

Brady has Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at No. 10 after their bounce-back win against the Carolina Panthers.
Then, he has the Denver Broncos at No. 9 coming off a dominant win against the Dallas Cowboys.
Surprisingly, he has his New England Patriots at No. 8, as they’re leading the AFC East.
The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, are at No. 7.
The red-hot Kansas City Chiefs are at No. 6, even though their record isn’t as good as some of the teams behind them.
Then, Brady gave the Los Angeles Rams his stamp of approval, putting them at No. 5 after their bye week.
Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are up to the No. 4 spot after a divisional win against the New Orleans Saints.
Then, he has Jordan Love and the surging Green Bay Packers at No. 3.
Coming off a bye, Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions hold the No. 2 spot.
Then come the Colts, which makes sense, given that they have the best record in the league.
A lot can change this season, but these are Brady’s 10 best teams right now.
