The Golden State Warriors are off to a good start in the 2025-26 NBA season. The “Dubs” improved to 4-1 after beating the Los Angeles Clippers 98-79 on Tuesday.
Golden State showed off its defensive prowess against a team with multiple offensive threats such as Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Additionally, they played a well-rounded game on offense, with Jimmy Butler leading the way with 21 points. Three more players scored in double digits (Stephen Curry with 19 and Quinten Post and Brandin Podziemski with 12 each) to take the team to the fourth win of the season.
Butler applauded the team’s depth after the game. After a reporter asked him how much he loved being in a team with multiple scoring options, Butler reminded the rest of the league that they can be more dangerous once every player is on the same page.

“Me and GP (Gary Payton II) was just talking about that, about how deep this team really is,” Butler said. “We don’t have certain guys back in full motion of what they could and would be doing. It’s a good thing for us, and it’s a scary thing for everybody else.”

The Warriors beat difficult opponents, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies before clashing with the Clippers. They will return to action on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks, another high-flying team.
