Apparently, Detroit Lions star Jahmyr Gibbs is a big fan of WWE and TNA legend Jeff Hardy, and can do a mean impersonation of the wrestling great.
October is nearly over, and that means Halloween is upon us. The beloved holiday is one of America’s favorites because it offers folks the chance to dress up and be characters they personally love during the many costume parties taking place this week around the country.
Well, it seems that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is, or at least was, a wrestling fan. And former multi-time WWE champion Jeff Hardy is one of his favorites. On Wednesday, Gibbs’ love interest, Nicole Madison, posted a story to her Instagram looking at herself in the mirror wearing an old school WWE Women’s title belt.
Then it happens. The two-time Pro Bowler emerges from off-camera decked out in an impressively good Hardy costume. He has the face paint, the cut-up arm sleeves, and even does the WWE greats’ classic hand gestures and hip gyrations. It is an impression and look that could have only been put together by a true Jeff Hardy fan.
The only real issue with the post is the caption. It says, “Jeff Hardy & Lita” followed by a heart emoji. While the pair were friends on screen for years, it was his brother Matt Hardy who dated the Hall of Famer on and off-screen.
