Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca will hope to see his side return to winning ways in the Premier League when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The Blues were beaten 2-1 by Sunderland at Stamford Bridge in their last outing, ending a run of two consecutive victories in the competition.
Maresca’s side now sit ninth in the top flight standings, and the Italian will expect to see his side move up the table in the coming weeks.
Off the pitch, it appears that the London side have been offered the chance to sign one of Europe’s most prolific strikers for a cut price.
According to Graeme Bailey via The Chelsea Chronicle, the Blues have been offered the chance to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic for less than £20 million.

The report claims that the West London outfit have been offered the opportunity to sign the Serbia international in January, with the striker’s time at the Old Lady set to come to an end next year.
Vlahovic, 25, has scored 63 goals in 157 games for Juventus across all competitions since joining from fellow Italian outfit Fiorentina in 2022.
So far this season he has netted five times in 12 games for the Turin giants.
His contract with his current side is set to expire at the end of the season, though, and the report claims that Juventus are therefore willing to part ways with the striker for a low fee in January.
It is claimed that the Serbian’s representatives have been actively making contact with other clubs in order to sound out a possible move, and clubs in Chelsea are thought to have been contacted.
Both Chelsea and their fierce London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, are on the hunt for a new striker, according to the report.
