Celtics vs. Cavaliers: The matchup

The visiting Cavaliers are early favorites (-3.5) in the betting line to defeat the struggling Celtics on the road, as they enter on a three-game win streak that features big wins over the Milwaukee Bucks (118-113) and Detroit Pistons (116-95) on back-to-back nights. Donavan Mitchell led the Cavs in scoring for the fourth time in four games in that win over Detroit, scoring 35 points on 13-of-18 shooting while compiling a plus-35 on the scoreboard during his 29 minutes on the floor.

Boston outscored New Orleans, 35-12, in the fourth quarter to turn a nine-point lead into a lopsided win, fueled by Anfernee Simons’ game-high 25 points off the bench.
