Bills looking to trade $24 million receiver ahead of trade deadline?

The Buffalo Bills have been brought frequently brought up as a team in the market to trade for a wide receiver. However, could they also be a team set to trade a pass-catcher away?

ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg labels Curtis Samuel as a potential trade candidate for the Bills to ship before Tuesday's trade deadline.

"It just hasn't come together for him, as he has been injured in both of his seasons in Buffalo and was a healthy scratch for three games to start the season,"Getzenberg writes. "In his 17 games played with Buffalo, Samuel has 34 receptions (only three this season), 288 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to five carries for 14 yards. The Bills could use help at receiver, but Samuel hasn't shown that he can be part of the solution."

The Bills signed Samuel ahead of the 2024 season, and he has been quite disappointing since signing a three-year, $24 million deal. he caught a long touchdown against the Denver Broncos in the wild card round last season as the cherry on top of the Bills' win, but has caught just three passes in 2025.

The Bills could still add a wide receiver via trade, such as Jakobi Meyers of the Las Vegas Raiders or Rashid Shaheed of the New Orleans Saints.
