“3 Of The 4 Are Out” Packers Catch Massive As Panthers Entire Position Loses Starting Lineup…

The Green Bay Packers (5-1-1) are looking to keep their stop atop the NFC this weekend when they host the Carolina Panthers (4-4). Carolina, meanwhile, is fighting to stay within arms reach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2).

However, it would appear that Carolina is going to have some serious obstacles to overcome if they want to knock off the red hot Green Bay Packers.

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers’ depth across the trenches was clearly tested Wednesday as they released their latest injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup. The list includes three starters who did not practice, plus a fourth lineman who logged limited reps.

Right guard Brady Christensen (Achilles) is facing what coach Darin Gantt described as a “significant” injury likely to sideline him for the remainder of the season. Center Cade Mays (ankle/knee) and right tackle Taylor Moton (knee) were both listed as out of practice, while guard Damien Lewis (oblique) was limited.

On a brighter note, quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) participated fully in practice and is back in the fold after missing last week’s game. Meanwhile, backup Andy Dalton (right thumb) did not practice, and linebacker Trevin Wallace (shoulder), outside linebacker Princely Umanmielen (ankle), and safety Nick Scott (groin) were all held out.

🔧 Projected Offensive Line Starters

According to the official Week 9 depth chart release:

Backup options for the line include: Austin Corbett, Jake Curhan, and Yosh Nijman stepping in if needed.

🚨 What’s Driving the Changes

Christensen’s ACL/achilles injury was described by head coach Dave Canales as “significant,” making the loss a major blow. Carolina

Combined with Moton’s knee issue and Mays’ ankle, the Panthers face one of the toughest weeks for offensive-line continuity this season.

The team also noted its line had rotated through six different combinations in the first seven games, increasing pressure on the current group. Carolina

📋 Implications for the Week 9 Game vs. Green Bay

With three linemen sidelined or questionable, the Panthers may adjust by increasing shotgun snaps, limiting pre-snap motion, and relying more on quick throws to mitigate pass-rush pressure.

This instability could affect both the run game and protection for quarterback Bryce Young — who himself is Day-to-Day with an ankle still in recovery. SI

The backup linemen will get a survival test against a Packers front known for exploiting mismatches; the Panthers will lean heavily on cohesion and technique this week.
