A custom 2025 Range Rover belonging to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was stolen in Georgia earlier this month during its transport to Louisiana, according to [CBS News](https://www.cbsnews.com/atlanta/news/shaquille-oneals-custom-range-rover-stolen-during-transport-from-georgia-to-louisiana-police-say/). The Hall of Famer planned to drive it during a visit for an LSU football game, officials said.
The luxury SUV, valued at $180,000, was taken from a fabrication business in Lumpkin County, GA last week, authorities said. It was later driven to the Atlanta area, but has not been recovered. Investigators have identified suspects and obtained search warrants, according to the report.
The vehicle was customized by Effortless Motors, which had arranged its transport through FirstLine Trucking LLC. The dealership said the transport company claimed its systems were hacked but did not disclose that information until after the vehicle disappeared.
O’Neal’s Range Rover featured extensive modifications, including a fully redone interior and extended seating to accommodate his 7-foot-1 frame. Shaq has reportedly worked with Effortless Motors since 2023 on several vehicles, including a Corvette Z06, TRX 1500 Apocalypse, 2025 Chevy 2500 ZR2 and Escalade IQ.

Authorities continue to work with telecommunications and vehicle tracking providers in hopes of locating both the SUV and the suspects. Effortless Motors has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the vehicle’s recovery.
O'Neal has been one of the more closely-involved LSU alums and recently expressed support for the development of a new $400 million arena on campus.
