Chelsea were able to bounce back from their defeat to Sunderland last weekend with a 4-3 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
Andrey Santos, Tyrique George, Estevao Willian and Jamie Gittens all scored to send Chelsea into the fifth round of the Carabao Cup.
Even before finding the back of the net, Gittens was already thriving at Molineux.
Both the winger and Santos have underwhelmed this season so far, but their displays against Wolves were very promising.

Andrey Santos’ best performance in a Chelsea shirt so far
After quite a lacklustre start to the campaign, Santos really needed to deliver on Wednesday. It would have been worrying if the Brazilian could not perform against a struggling Wolves side.
Thankfully, Santos was able to and undoubtedly put in his best display for Chelsea since arriving at the club.
His performance was a pretty complete one, with the 21-year-old offering a lot offensively and defensively.
For example, Santos was able to score one goal, provide one assist and win seven out of eight ground duels, according to Sofascore.
The Brazil international also made two successful tackles in what was a very fiery affair.
In the second half, Chelsea’s midfield and team as a whole struggled to control the match as Wolves fought their way back into the game. But Santos can still be happy with his display.

Andrey Santos proved why Chelsea shouldn’t sell him
Last week, it was reported that Chelsea have no plans to sell Santos amid interest from West Ham United.
After his display against Wolves, you can see why the club value him so highly. He has reminded everyone of what he is capable of after some difficult games this season.
Chelsea needed to be careful of Wolves, who had been performing well in the Carabao Cup. However, Enzo Maresca’s men ended up showing a lot of complacency as they almost threw away the game.
Chelsea and Santos now have an exciting London derby against rivals Tottenham Hotspur to look forward to at the weekend.
