The NFL is adding more music to its Super Bowl weekend plans. On Location, the league's hospitality provider, announced that 17-time Grammy winner Sting will perform at San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts on Feb. 6, two days before Bad Bunny's halftime performance during the Big Game itself on Feb. 8.
The Sting concert will be a part of the NFL's Super Bowl LX Studio 60 weekend, which On Location's site describes thusly: "Super Bowl LX Studio 60 is a weekend of unforgettable music entertainment at one of San Francisco’s most iconic venues. The intimate setting serves as an opportunity to see artists up close and personal."

The selection of Sting is sure to result in fewer pearls clutched than the choice of Bad Bunny — a massively popular three-time Grammy winner who happens to perform largely in Spanish — as the halftime entertainment, which sent right-wing media spiraling.
Sting most recently won a Grammy in 2019, which was also his most recent nomination. He took home the trophy that night for Best Reggae Album for his record with Jamaican-American singer Shaggy, 44/876. The win ended a 15-year drought for Sting, who before then had previously won at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards in 2004 for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals with his and Mary J. Blige's song "Whenever I Say Your Name."
Bad Bunny currently sits in third place for Gold Derby's predictions for next year's Album of the Year Grammy. The record, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, ranks only behind Kendrick Lamar's GNX and Lady Gaga's Mayhem.
