When the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Los Angeles Lakers, it's a conceptually exciting game.
Except the one on Wednesday night is missing just about everyone.
Anthony Edwards is out.
So too are Luka Doncic and LeBron James.
The injury reports don't end there, either.
In all, it's an underwhelming clash that will likely have a few unsung heroes, along with a whole lot of shots from Austin Reaves.
From Minnesota's perspective, they've got to continue to figure things out without Ant out there.

Why isn't Anthony Edwards playing tonight?
Anthony Edwards isn't playing right now due to an injury.
He has a right hamstring strain. It knocked him out of Sunday night's game after just three and a half minutes.
He then sat out on Monday in the second night of a back-to-back, and he remains out for the Lakers game on Wednesday.
When is Anthony Edwards coming back?
It'll be at least a couple of weeks for Edwards.
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Edwards will miss "two weeks."
This has pressed the young Terrence Shannon Jr. into a larger bench role. Mike Conley moved into the starting lineup with Edwards out.
