Romeo Doubs wears a Guardian Cap each week.
It's that padded cover to his helmet meant to limit head injuries. Doubs is one of two Green Bay Packers wide receivers to wear one, along with rookie Savion Williams.
Doubs began wearing his Guardian Cap in 2024 after returning from concussion. After the absence, he surely just wanted to be back on the field and not worry quite as much about re-injury.
The fashion choice brings with it a fun twist for Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season.

That's because this week, the Packers are wearing throwback uniforms, throwing it all the way back to 1923.
With that comes a helmet change for the Packers. Their regular helmets are designed to look like the classic leather helmets worn way back in the day.
The Packers have altered their Guardian Caps for the occasion, too.
Doubs' Guardian Cap was teased on social media on Wednesday night, and it basically looks like his own leather helmet.

That's actually perfect.
It pretty much looks like a leather helmet, just over a full-sized helmet underneath it.
Doubs should just keep this Guardian Cap for every week going forward.
