Former NFL star tells Kevin Durant he needs to have children

At 37 years old, Kevin Durant is one of the NBA‘s elder statesmen. But unlike his peers, Stephen Curry and LeBron James, KD has made different choices off the basketball court. The other two are family men with multiple children, but Durant has never been married, nor had kids.

Fans joke that the Houston Rockets man is ‘married to the game’, and there’s certainly some truth to that. But it seems not everyone is happy with his choices. During a recent appearance on ‘The Pivot’ podcast, former Miami Dolphins star Channing Crowder trolled him for not having children.

“You know what else I’m hot with you about?” Crowder asked Durant. “Seriously, it’s the one thing. You have not blessed the world with your DNA. We can’t get a lil Kevin or Kevinita? Bro, we need this to continue.

“You the only one on Netflix without an old lady. You don’t want to be the 65-year-old man at the high school graduation. They’re calling you grandpa… You’ve got to put a little Kevin in the world.”

The entire exchange was a hilarious one. Durant went on to say he’s a role model to many children and tries to set a good example for them. But Crowder wasn’t having that, insisting on this point. It did seem like KD isn’t averse to the idea though, claiming in the interview that it will happen when it has to.
