Next up, United travel to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest, who recently appointed Sean Dyche as manager.
Amorim outclassed Dyche in their only meeting as managers so far, but United’s record against Forest is bleak.

It completed Forest’s double over United after a 3-2 win at Old Trafford earlier in the campaign. On Saturday evening, Amorim’s side will look to avenge their defeats and Patrick Dorgu will be fighting to return to the starting line-up.
In the latest defeat, Dorgu impressed against Forest at left wing-back with a solid all-round performance. He was let down by the lack of threat up front.
As per SofaScore, Dorgu ended the Forest clash having completed 100% of his dribbles and having won 100% of his tackles.
He also created one big chance, attempted four shots and was not dribbled past once. A similar performance on Saturday would put a smile on Amorim’s face.

However, the 21-year-old has not started in any of United’s past three wins, coming off the bench against Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton in the second half.

Diogo Dalot has been starting on the left ahead of Dorgu, but his performances have made it clear that wing-back is a top priority to address in 2026.
However, the urgency to sign a new wing-back would reduce if Dorgu can return to form.
