All the early injury news surrounding Crystal Palace and Brentford as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace and Brentford return to action on Saturday when they face off in an all-London clash at Selhurst Park. The Eagles are in the midst of a relentless schedule having been in Carabao Cup action during the week, while their other mid-weeks have been filled with Conference League action.
Brentford were also in cup action, making easy work of lower league opposition Grimsby Town. These two sides are now side-by-side in the table, both on 13 points, so this should be an interesting game. Here we round up the early injury news surrounding both.
Antoni Milambo - Out
Milambo is out for the season, with Andres having said in mid-October: “Antoni suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on international duty with the Netherlands Under-21s.”
Josh DaSilva - Out
DaSilva is going to be out until December. Andrews said recently: “Right now, I’m just doing rehab outside, doing ball work and running. I’ve been doing that for quite a few weeks now, so hopefully, within the next month or so, I can start training with the team. I try not to look too far ahead; I’m just taking every milestone as it comes.”
Aaron Hickey - Doubt
Hickey missed out last weekend but may well have a chance of returning from his knee injury here.
Yegor Yarmoliuk - Doubt
Yarmoliuk is a doubt with a hip issue.
Chris Richards - Doubt
Glasner has said: “Chris has a little bit of an issue with his calf, so he won't make the trip to Liverpool tomorrow. I don’t think [he'll miss this weekend], but we don’t take any risks because Chris didn’t play vs AEK Larnaca. Let’s see - I can’t tell you more at the moment.” Richards will be a doubt until confirmed otherwise.
Cheick Doucoure - Out
Doucoure is going to be out until late November as he works his way back from a long-term knee injury.
Chadi Riad - Out
Riad is out here but will finally return in the next couple of weeks having worked his way back from two nasty injuries in close succession. Glasner said last week: “We have Chadi Riad, who will come back in the next two weeks and start training with us.”
Kporha has been out with a back injury and Glasner has not suggested he will return yet.
