Barcelona have been hit with yet another injury blow this week with news that [Pedri has been ruled out of action with a hamstring injury](/barcelona-la-liga/104747/barcelonas-injury-crisis-continues-as-pedri-ruled-out-after-el-clasico).
Initial reports speculated that Pedri would be out until after the international break, but the latest update has suggested it will be longer than that.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Pedri’s injury is more “serious” than first thought and he is not expected back until “well into December.”
Barcelona are now expecting to be without Pedri for the games against Elche, Club Brugge, Celta Vigo, Athletic Club, Chelsea, Alavés and potentially Atlético Madrid as well.
Hansi Flick must now find a way to cope without a player who has been so vital for Barcelona. Marc Casado looks primed to enjoy more game time, while Marc Bernal may also be given more opportunities.
