I keep thinking the Patriots are due for a hiccup.
For a team not used to winning, five straight victories is a lot. If you keep pressing your luck, eventually you’re going to hit a whammy. Are the Falcons good enough to beat them in Foxborough?

I don’t think so. But I also once thought Joey Harrington was going to be a Hall of Famer, so follow me at your own risk.
The Falcons move the ball O.K., but they struggle to cross the goal line enough and are in the NFL’s bottom six in points per game.
It looks like Michael Penix, who missed last week’s loss to the Dolphins, will be back this week, which makes Drake London and Bijan Robinson better, too.
The Falcons have allowed the second-fewest total yards and the fewest passing yards of anybody, but they’re toward the bottom half in rushing defense. The Patriots’ running attack has been inconsistent.
My biggest issue is that the Falcons beat the Bills and lost to the Dolphins. That remains one of the strangest result dichotomies of the NFL season and it’s making me hesitant on this pick. Still, if the Patriots don’t make costly blunders, I think they’ll do enough to win.
So here goes nothing. Come on big bucks, big bucks, no whammies and STOP:
Final score prediction: Patriots 20, Falcons 13.
