Alisson Becker has taken an important step in his road to recovery following a hamstring injury last month. The Liverpool goalkeeper has missed the Reds' last five matches across all competitions since being forced off in the second half against Galatasaray last month.
Liverpool's miserable form has continued without the Brazilian, with Arne Slot's side falling to their sixth loss from their last seven games against Crystal Palace in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.
Falling to a 3-0 defeat against the Eagles, the Reds have now conceded 24 goals from just 15 games so far this season. Meanwhile, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 10 outings - having only kept two shut-outs during the campaign to date.

Giorgi Mamardashvili has deputised in goal in the absence of Alisson, while third-choice Freddie Woodman was handed his debut for the club in the loss to Palace.
The Georgia international is expected to be back in goal for Saturday evening's clash against Aston Villa, with Slot admitting last week that Alisson was not yet ready to return.
However, the Brazilian, who was at Anfield to witness a much-changed Reds side's hefty 3-0 loss to Palace, has revealed he is now back training outside on the grass at the AXA Training Centre - as he offered a positive injury update on social media.
Posting a picture of himself beaming in training wear, out on the pitches in Kirkby, the shot-stopper wrote: "Step by step," before quoting a verse from the bible. He then finished his caption by writing: "Y.N.W.A."
Slot confirmed - ahead of the weekend defeat to Brentford - that it was 'going to take a little bit longer' before Alisson would be fit to return, but the sight of him stepping up his recovery will be a welcome one for an out-of-form Liverpool.
It remains to be seen if the Brazilian, who had offered previous hint that he was closing in on an injury return on Tuesday, could be fit in time to return against either Real Madrid or Man City or if the Reds will remain without him until after the November international break.
Elsewhere on the injury front, Slot revealed that he was hopeful Ryan Gravenberch could be fit to return following a twisted ankle to face Aston Villa on Saturday.
However, the Dutchman also admitted that both Alexander Isak and Curtis Jones remain doubts.

"I think Ryan has a good chance," Slot said. "The other [injured] ones, they're going to be... let's wait and see tomorrow [Thursday] and Friday.
"I don't know all of them, but Ryan has the best chance from all of them."
Liverpool are also currently without Jeremie Frimpong because of a hamstring injury, while Giovanni Leoni has been ruled out for the season - after undergoing surgery on his ACL.
