If you managed to ride with Oronde Gadsden for another week after his breakout performance against the Indianapolis Colts, then you were rewarded with another top 5 fantasy TE performance in Week 8. Now it is time to take a closer look at some bold fantasy football predictions for Week 9 of NFL action.
Bam Knight Finishes as a Top 12 Fantasy RB

The Arizona Cardinals offense hasn’t given fantasy managers much to get excited about outside of Trey McBride this season, but Michael Carter being sent back to the team’s practice squad ahead of their matchup against the woeful Dallas Cowboys defense should be enough to push Zonovan Knight into RB2 consideration in a favorable matchup.

Knight has 25 carries over his previous two games and has managed to score a rushing touchdown in two of the three games since Trey Benson went to IR.
Emari Demercado was inactive in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers while dealing with an ankle injury, which also makes his usage in this contest up in the air.
Since the Cowboys’ defense has shown very few signs of life this season, Knight could manage to find the end zone for the third time this season in Week 9.

Derrick Henry Finishes as the RB1 Overall in Week 9

If Lamar Jackson truly does return to the starting lineup this week, then Derrick Henry’s ceiling should rise significantly entering their matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
To be fair, the Dolphins’ defense did hold one of my bold fantasy football predictions to just four rushing yards and a score on Sunday — but a surprising one-week outlier performance isn’t enough to convince me this Miami unit has been truly fixed quite yet.

The Ravens’ defense is showing signs of life after their win against the Chicago Bears, which doesn’t bode well for Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ offense.
If the Ravens find themselves in a positive game script early, then Henry could feast against this defense.
Bo Nix Finishes Outside of the Top 15 at the QB Position

Bo Nix is currently the QB5 on the season and is fresh off a four-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys, but the Houston Texans’ defense is a big step up in competition this week.
The Texans’ offense could struggle to pass protect for CJ Stroud this week, which could lead to a low-scoring output for the Houston offense. The problem is the Broncos haven’t exactly been super consistent offensively this year, which could be problematic if this turns into a low-scoring affair between these two squads.
In four games this season, Nix has managed to produce just one total touchdown, which could be the case against this Texans’ stingy defense in Week 9 — which has me considering going a different direction at QB this week.
