Blues who missed out on the hugely popular Everton Way feature have another opportunity to have their names etched into the club’s new home.

Thirty six thousand bricks were pieced together to form the walkway along the south stand of Hill Dickinson Stadium, many bearing the names and memories of Everton supporters past and present.

The special path remains one of the most popular meeting points at the waterfront stadium and matchdays are still bookended by supporters looking for their own personal piece of the docklands site.

For those who missed out on Everton Way, the club is now plotting a new installation that fans can be part of - this time called the ‘Dock Lines’.

Set to be built on the Budweiser Plaza, on the east of the stadium site, the feature will see thousands of granite stones laid between the restored railway tracks that form part of the site next summer. Like with Everton Way, those who purchase a stone will be able to have it engraved with a message personal to them. The completed feature, which like Everton Way will be installed by Intaglio Creative, will pay homage to the famous criss-cross pattern of the Archibald Leitch trusses that made Goodison Park so recognisable.

The first sales window, for supporters who are part of the various club membership schemes, is now open and bricks will go on general sale on Tuesday, November 4. Prices start from £49. More details are available here.
