Everton are already making plans for the January transfer window, and one of their rumoured targets would’ve impressed David Moyes last night.
Everton spent in excess of £100m on nine players in the summer transfer window, but David Moyes wasn’t able to plug all areas of his squad.
The Toffees are still left quite short up front, at right-back and in the heart of the defence, so they will be positions he will look at this winter.
Richarlison is believed to be on Moyes’ radar, and so too is Manchester United frontman Joshua Zirkzee, who is open to a departure.
Another of Moyes’ targets was in action last night, and he certainly caught the eye.

Everton target Charlie Cresswell scored for Toulouse last night
Everton News exclusively reported that Moyes and his scouts are keeping tabs on Charlie Cresswell ahead of the January transfer window.
The Toffees are in the market for defenders, and Cresswell is very much on the shortlist after impressing in France.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The England under-21 international was in action for Toulouse on Wednesday evening and actually scored against Rennes.
That’s Cresswell’s seventh goal for the Ligue 1 outfit since joining a little over a year ago, so clearly he’s a big threat in both boxes.
Moyes will certainly like that trait, as he’s always looking to spread goals across the team and get his defenders more involved from set-pieces.
Charlie Cresswell’s sensational stats
Quite incredibly, according to FBref data, Cresswell ranks in the top one per cent in Europe for non-penalty goals per 90 compared to his positional peers.
That makes him one of the best goalscoring defenders on the planet at the moment, so it’s no surprise Moyes and his recruitment staff are taking a good look.
The 23-year-old also sits in the top four per cent for aerial duels won, further amplifying his dominance in the air.
The only downside for Everton is that these statistics will no doubt have a number of top clubs on red alert, too.
In fact, Borussia Dortmund and West Ham United were reportedly exploring a deal to sign Cresswell in the summer.
