Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Says Brittany Is Like a Daughter to Her
The Chiefs signal-caller’s romance with Brittany didn’t exactly start smoothly as much as fans know. Patrick reportedly kept his cards close early on, but once everything clicked between him and Brittany, they didn’t step back to start their new journey.
During a recent podcast appearance, Randi recalled the timeline in detail, noting that Brittany had been around since her daughter Mia was just two years old.
She added per thesportsrush, “So 14 years she’s been around. She’s like a daughter to me. I’ve kind of helped maybe not raise her, but she grew up with Patrick and was always around. We’ve always been very close.”
Randi explained that Brittany practically grew up alongside Patrick, becoming woven into the fabric of their family unit. The bond strengthened beyond typical in-law relationships. Even when Patrick headed off to Texas Tech, Brittany maintained close contact with his mother.
Mama Mahomes said, “She’ll call me – we’ll keep in touch, especially when he was in college. And we would always hang out whenever he came home.”
Their bond, like mother and daughter, has only gotten stronger as Patrick and Brittany started a family. It means even more now because Randi has three grandchilds who spend most of their time with their mom and grandma since Pat is always busy playing football.
