The Indianapolis Colts are currently going through one of their best starts to an NFL season against all odds, and even though late owner Jim Irsay isn’t alive to experience the magic that the AFC franchise has displayed in 2025 his daughters are carrying on that tradition.

Irsay passed away in May this year before his three daughters took over responsibilities as co-owners of Indianapolis, and with the team’s 7-1 start to the NFL season it appears as though everything is going right for the franchise.

While Isay’s love for the Colts was clear, he also had a lot of other passions, including music and guitars, and now his legendary collection is going up for auction in 2026, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
The incredible guitar selection features at least 16 stringed instruments, including Kurt Cobain’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ Mustang, and it’s expected to fetch a huge number at auction. Schefter also stated that a solid portion of the sale from The Jim Irsay Collection will go towards charity.

A report from Guitar World back in 2023 revealed that Irsay reportedly turned down an offer of over $1 billion from a private group of investors in Dubai.
