WATCH: Bill Belichick Has Grand Pa Moment, Rages Against Garbage on ‘MyFace’

While he is 73 years old, many assume Bill Belichick is wiser to the times than most guys his age, especially with a 24-year-old love interest. However, it seems the New England Patriots legend is just as out of touch with today’s technology as your grandpa.

Belichick will go down as, arguably, the greatest coach in NFL history. That is what comes with a .687 win percentage in New England, 302 career wins, and nine trips to the Super Bowl — including six victories. He has always seemed ahead of the curve and forward-thinking. But that may not be the case when it comes to things that aren’t football-related.

Since arriving in Chapel Hill to lead the North Carolina football program, negative press has swirled around the team. Reports about the unusual role girlfriend Jordon Hudson has in his life have been a constant, but recent rumors have emerged about his struggles transitioning from running an NFL program to one in college football.

Bill Belichick record: 302-165

"I'm sure there's a lot of other people that want to get clicks and views and posts on my face… It's just a bunch of garbage."

One of the reports on that topic was brought up on Wednesday during Belichick’s weekly press conference. Unsurprisingly, the iconic coach who always holds his cards close to the chest looked to dismiss the various speculations. Even quoting President Trump and claiming it’s just “fake news.” However, one particular comment stood out by being hilarious for the wrong reasons.

“I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that want to get, you know, clicks and views and, you know, and posts on MyFace or whatever, but it’s just a bunch of garbage,” Belichick said in response.

MyFace? It seems the ole’ ball coach may be blending two social media platforms, and one of them doesn’t even exist anymore. Belichick probably means Facebook, but in a classic senior moment, he likely remembered back in the days before Facebook, when there was MySpace, and combined the two.

One can only imagine how shallow his depth of knowledge on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat is.
