The 76ers are off to an incredible 4-0 start with Tyrese Maxey among the NBA league leaders in scoring, while rookie VJ Edgecombe has quickly become a household name after stringing together some awesome performances in his young career.
Charles Barkley to Tyrese Maxey:
"You got paid, and you earned it. Why don't you buy the young guy (VJ Edgecomb) some stuff to put on his damn walls? You got all these nice ass paintings, he got just regular white walls.” 🤣🤣🤣

When Barkley had the chance to catch up with the two of them though, the former NBA star was quick to crack jokes about Edgecombe’s in-home setup and told Maxey to buy his teammate some paintings to cancel out his “regular white walls.”
In typical Barkley fashion, he had the Sixers duo in tears laughing after pointing out the fact that Maxey has some “nice a** paintings” in his home after establishing himself as an NBA star.

This season, Edgecombe is averaging over 22 points, five rebounds and five assists per game in his first four games, and the number three overall draft pick is quickly putting himself into the NBA Rookie of the Year conversation.
