Erling Haaland is an injury doubt
The striker’s goalscoring run came to an end last weekend in a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa, as he failed to score in a game for the first time since August.
Haaland thought he had rescued a point with a late equaliser, sliding in and colliding with the back post before the ball crossed the line, only to be denied by the offside flag.
And that knock against the upright has proved troublesome, with Guardiola ruling Haaland out of the Carabao Cup victory at Swansea as a result.
Speaking on Tuesday before the trip to Wales, Guardiola said of Haaland: “I didn’t see him today, but it was a knock and day by day it is [getting] better. But now we train this afternoon and will know more exactly how does he feel.”
After the game, Guardiola was asked if Haaland would play this weekend. He replied: "I don't know yet, I hope so.”

Omar Marmoush and Rayan Cherki took up the goalscoring mantle against Swansea City, and would be relied upon to do so again should Haaland be sidelined.
Nico O’Reilly, Matheus Nunes and Savinho were given the night off in midweek so could come back into the starting line-up, while the like of Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol were only relied upon from the bench.
Marmoush may come back out, having only recently returned from injury.
