NBA head coach Tyronn Lue allegedly attended Chauncey Billups’ ‘rigged poker games’

The NBA is currently dealing with one of its biggest scandals in decades after Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier and other current and former basketball stars were arrested by the FBI in relation to massive sports gambling charges.

However, NBA commissioner Adam Silver and the rest of the league have even bigger issues on their hands because it appears that Billups and Co. aren’t the only names that will come out in the future. According to Pablo Torre, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue attended one of Billups’ ‘rigged poker games’ in 2019 during a Las Vegas game that was held.

Ty Lue was reportedly in attendance at one of Chauncey Billups’ poker games, per @PabloTorre

An excerpt from Torre’s findings revealed the stunning revelation, although it’s unclear at this point if Lue was simply in attendance or was somehow involved in Billups’ alleged wrongdoings.

“According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of that April 2019 game in Vegas that we’ve been discussing—the same one where [Chauncey] Billups was allegedly profiting off of an extremely suspicious hand and a rigged shuffling machine,” according to Torre’s investigation.

Lue was apparently only an assistant coach at the time of the allegations, however, Torre also indicated that he has often played poker games alongside former NBA player Damon Jones, who was also recently arrested on illegal gambling charges. Jones was also accused of giving out insider information pertaining to NBA players that might be missing games.
