Thursday Night Football DFS picks and prop bets for Week 9

Can the Miami Dolphins win two games in a row? Their victory last week was unlikely enough, and now the Baltimore Ravens come to town. The Ravens are getting Lamar Jackson back under center, and that should tilt the action in their favor. To begin the week, at least, we want an exciting and competitive game. With an over/under of 50.5 points, offense should be in full supply tonight. However, given the Dolphins struggles this season, Baltimore is favored by 7.5 points, and it’s possible things get out of hand. We have a lot to consider for Thursday’s action, so let’s jump right into some TNF DFS picks for Week 9.

There was never a doubt about De’Von Achane’s role in Miami’s offense, but the injury to Tyreek Hill (and now Darren Waller) only enhanced that. The good thing with Achane is that a large part of his value comes as a receiver. With 37 catches for 235 yards and four touchdowns through eight games, there’s a legitimate floor to Achane’s game.

Perhaps the bigger positive, though, is that even if the game gets out of hand for Miami, Achane will still have a role. It also helps that the Ravens are ranked 29th in DK points allowed to opposing running backs, which puts Achane at the top of our list.

While we talk about Achane’s skill as a receiver, we shouldn’t overlook his 539 rushing yards and three touchdowns, as he’s averaging five yards per carry.

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens ($17,700 DK/$20,400FD)

The Ravens, rightfully so, played things very carefully with Lamar Jackson’s return from a hamstring injury. After a full practice on Wednesday, Jackson’s slated to return to the field tonight. The thought process here, in a very favorable matchup, is that Jackson is going to pick things up where he left off.

Jackson hasn’t played since Week 4, but he has 869 passing yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. From a floor perspective, Jackson also has 166 rushing yards and a touchdown. The ball should be flying down the field, and Jackson is the player who will have the ball in his hands the most.

Malik Washington, WR, Miami Dolphins ($4,800 DK/$7,400FD)

The Ravens have been very forgiving to opposing wide receivers from a production standpoint this season. Next in line, and at a price that should fit into any lineup, is Malik Washington.

There have been some connection issues between Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle this season, so that opens up even more opportunity for a developing Washington. In each of the last four games, Washington has at least five targets and four catches. Last week, Washington found the end zone as he caught four passes for 36 yards.

The problem to this point has been Washington’s lack of big plays. At some point, there will be one; the conditions are ripe for it tonight.

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens ($5,000 DK/$8,600 FD)

It’s hard to truly judge Mark Andrews this season, considering the lackluster quarterback play of Cooper Rush and then the conservative nature of Tyler Huntley. This week, Andrews gets Jackson back under center, and the entire Baltimore offense is slated to benefit.

Last week, he did catch three passes for 34 yards, and I’d look for him to build on it tonight. After struggling through the first two weeks of the season, we did see what Andrews is still capable of in Week 3 as he caught six passes for 91 yards and both of his touchdowns this season.

The Dolphins are 22nd in DK points allowed to opposing tight ends. There’s no reason why Andrews can’t finish with 50 yards and a touchdown tonight.

Derrick Henry, RB, Baltimore Ravens ($11,000 DK/$12,600FD)

So far this season, we haven’t seen the true upside of Derrick Henry. Through seven games, Henry has just 509 yards and six touchdowns. Now, it’s not a true disappointment, but it’s also not the level of performance that we have become accustomed to seeing.

To be fair, Henry shouldn’t receive all of the blame here. It’s hard to get a true look at Henry as the Ravens have just two victories, and game flow hasn’t been kind to the running game. In Week 1, Henry did rattle off 169 yards before struggling the subsequent week in a tough defensive matchup against Cleveland.

With Jackson returning this week, the Ravens offense should get back on track. From Henry’s perspective, it also helps that the Dolphins are ranked 28th in DK points allowed to opposing running backs.

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Miami Dolphins ($10,000 DK/$11,400 FD)

To put it kindly, it hasn’t been the smoothest of starts to the season for Tua Tagovailoa. There are a lot of issues at play, and things haven’t necessarily been handled smoothly. Last week, though, Tagovailoa did rebound and complete 20 of 26 passes for 205 yards. More importantly, he threw for four touchdowns, which gave him 15 on the season, albeit along with 10 interceptions.

The Ravens rank 28th in DK points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and with an over/under of 50.5, we can’t ignore a quarterback. Don’t force Tagovailoa into your lineup, but keep him on your radar.

Value Play

Ollie Gordon, RB, Miami Dolphins ($4,400 DK/$5,600 FD)

We know there will be points scored tonight, and we know it’s a good matchup for Ollie Gordon. After entering the season with some buzz, it’s a slow go of it for the rookie. Last week was Gordon’s busiest game as he carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards while adding a 20-yard touchdown reception. Let’s look for him to have a similar role tonight.

TNF Prop Bets

Tua Tagovailoa Over 0.5 Interceptions (-128 on DraftKings)

With 10 interceptions on the season, ball security has been a real issue for Tagovailoa. While the Ravens defense doesn’t grade out well from a DK point perspective, they still have some playmakers. Tagovailoa has interceptions in five of eight games this season, so looking for one in a game in which the ball will be in the air a lot isn’t unreasonable.

De’Von Achane Over 92.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-113 on DraftKings)

On average, this is right around Achane’s mark for the season. I like the flexibility of including both the receiving and rushing yards here in a game projected to be high scoring, in which Achane has a favorable matchup.

Mark Andrews Over 29.5 Receiving Yards (-110 on DraftKings)

The ball should be flying all over Miami tonight, and the return of Lamar Jackson is beneficial to Andrews. He’s still a solid receiving threat who has developed chemistry over the years with Jackson. This is a relatively easy-to-obtain mark, as Andrews, for multiple reasons, has struggled for the most part in 2025.

Malik Washington Over 28.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

For the Dolphins to keep up with the Ravens, they are going to need multiple pass catchers. Washington has taken on a larger role as of late, and while inefficient, he finished with 36 yards last week. This is a low mark, and all it really takes is one big play for Washington to hit it or the more likely scenario of a few shorter passes.
