Trash talk is a way of life in sports. Players say things at each other. Fans say things at players. And Players sometimes react to the fans.
Yesterday, after the Washington Wizards lost to the Philadelphia 76ers in overtime, the 76ers reacted and trolled a Wizards fan wearing a Jordan Poole jersey. Poole now plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. Watch this video below.
We don’t see what happened before the Sixers erupted. But apparently, the Wizards fan was relentless all game with his taunts. And when the Wizards — who were winning late in this game — lost, then we saw the Sixers taunt the fan back. The most notable Sixer is Joel Embiid, who did the WWE Generation D-X chop, which can be considered an obscene gesture. Personally, I find the trolling by the Sixers hilarious. Based on the video, nothing malicious was said. No players were charging the fan. The fan wasn’t charging the players.
