Two West Ham United Women players were celebrating midweek success in the CONMEBOL Women’s Nations League, as Camila Sáez and Manuela Paví both helped their national sides secure important wins.

In Rancagua, defender Camila Sáez played the full match as Chile earned their first victory of the campaign with a commanding 5-0 triumph over Bolivia. The hosts were in clinical form during the first half, racing into a four-goal lead thanks to a Sonya Keefe double, followed by strikes from Fernanda Pinilla and Yastin Jimenez.

Less than a minute after the restart, Nayadet López added a fifth to complete a dominant performance and lift Chile to second place in their group. Currently on loan at Bristol City, Sáez will next link up with her national team when Chile face Peru in November, as qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil continues.

Elsewhere, winger Manuela Paví came off the bench to make an impact for Colombia, who maintained their perfect start with a 2-1 win over Ecuador in Quito. Introduced just before the hour mark with the score level, Paví watched as Daniela Montoya produced a superb 71st-minute volley to secure all three points at Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado.

Colombia remain the only nation to have won both of their opening fixtures and will look to continue their fine form when they take on Bolivia in November’s international window.
