Two of West Ham United Women’s upcoming Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures, against Manchester United and Liverpool, have been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage on Sky Sports.
The Hammers’ trip to Leigh Sports Village to face Marc Skinner’s Manchester United will now take place on Sunday 7 December, with kick-off at 12 noon GMT.
The sides last met in April, when Kinga Szemik delivered a standout performance, making five crucial saves to help secure a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Meanwhile, the home fixture against Liverpool has also been chosen for live broadcast. The match will now be played on Sunday 14 December, kicking off slightly earlier at 11:55am GMT.
In last season’s corresponding meeting between the two sides, Riko Ueki’s late header earned West Ham a 1-1 draw, sealing the team’s first point of the 2024/25 campaign.
Further ticket information for both matches will be confirmed by the club in due course.
