Eden Hazard is one of the greatest [Chelsea](https://chelseanews.com/) players of all time, and Jose Mourinho is 100 percent, without a doubt, the greatest Chelsea manager of all time and probably the greatest manager of all time for any club.
The two got to join forces and win Mourinho’s final Premier League title together in the Portuguese manager’s final stint at Chelsea, and, via the club’s official site, Mou got to reminisce about that:
“I’m sorry about being a pain on your arse for a few times. I just wanted you to be better and better. And by the way, thank you so much for my last Premier League.”
That will hit every Chelsea fan right in the feels, but, honestly, any football fan of the 2010s decade will feel their eyes welling up just a little bit at that beautiful show of respect from The Special One.
Hazard and Mourinho were the opposites who attracted and combined to help take Chelsea to the top. On the one hand, you had the stringent, meticulous tactician in Mourinho with his fiery temper and will to win at all costs.
On the other hand, you had Hazard, one of the most gifted and carefree footballers of his generation who was so chill and relaxed that he wouldn’t even bother to train – and when he did, he wouldn’t really even try or tie his shoes.
Yet they worked together without conflict, Mou building the base of the elite squad and Hazard providing the offensive magic. Man, football just isn’t the same without characters like these.
