Ticket prices are exploding as the Blue Jays get set for a “possible World Series-clinching Game 6” against the Dodgers at Rogers Centre tomorrow night. Anything “selling for face value is long gone,” and the “get-in-the-door prices for general admission tickets” on resale sites like StubHub were around $2,100 as of this morning. And “it’s going to cost you more if you want an actual seat.” The “cheapest asking prices in the 500 level” are going for around $2,700 while “some in the lower bowl are charging up to $11,350.” Even seats in the 200 level “have ballooned up to more than $3,300, with most on the market going for between $5,000 and $7,000.” For comparison, the cheapest ticket for Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals, the last time a Toronto team had a chance to clinch a title at home, was $3,294 at the time, according to resale site TicketIQ ([_TORONTO STAR, 10/30_](https://www.thestar.com/sports/blue-jays/blue-jays-tickets-at-terrifyingly-high-prices-for-game-6-of-the-world-series-on/article_22005a44-ab73-4fbd-b8ee-ed86d231d3c0.html)).
Meanwhile, Blue Jays owner Rogers Communications will hold another free ticket giveaway for Games 6 and 7 (if necessary). Tomorrow, 150 pairs of tickets to Game 6 will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis at a location in the greater Toronto area to fans who dress up as their favorite Blue Jays player. Once Game 6 tickets are given away to the first 150 fans, those remaining in line or who come to the location by 1pm ET will be entered for a chance to win one of 250 pairs of tickets for Game 7, if necessary. The location will be announced 8am tomorrow on Rogers’ Instagram and Facebook pages (_Rogers_).
