Isaiah Collier Begins Reconditioning After Hamstring Injury
Collier missed the preseason and the Jazz’s first four regular-season games due to a strained hamstring suffered early in training camp. He has remained in street clothes for the past three weeks.
According to the team, Collier “has completed his return to play protocol and is cleared for full on-court participation. He will be assigned to the SLC Stars starting on Oct. 31 as part of his return to play reconditioning.”

Although Collier will join the Stars, he may not appear in a game for the G League affiliate. The Stars’ season doesn’t begin until Nov. 11, while the Jazz are already deep into their regular-season schedule.
As a result of his assignment, Collier likely will not travel with the Jazz for their Halloween matchup against the Phoenix Suns, the first stop on a five-game road trip.
The second-year guard from USC narrowly missed the 2025 All-Rookie second team. He averaged 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists last season, breaking John Stockton’s franchise rookie assist record.
Salt Lake City Stars Schedule Highlights
The Salt Lake City Stars open their season Nov. 11 at Delta Center, but their official home opener at Maverik Center is set for Nov. 18. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a purple Stars home jersey.
The G League Tip-Off Tournament begins Nov. 7 and concludes with the Winter Showcase from Dec. 19–22. Teams that don’t qualify for the Showcase will begin their 36-game regular season on Dec. 19, which runs through the G League Finals in April.
