The Kansas City Chiefs' run game has been at its most productive all season over the past couple of weeks with Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt becoming a solid tandem behind Patrick Mahomes.
As such, the passing game has also picked up, but things might change, for this week at least, with Pacheco dealing with a reported MCL sprain, and didn't practice on Wednesday.
That leaves Hunt as the go-to guy, and some aren't sure if he can be the bell cow in Pacheco's absence, given the most carries he's had in a game this season is 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, plus he's only had 10+ carries twice.
But the man himself is confident that if he is asked to shoulder a heavy workload, he can do it.
"Yeah, most definitely," Hunt said. "I love the game of football. We got some other guys, too, who can make plays. So, definitely ready for whatever I'm asked to do."

Hunt a proven bell cow for Chiefs
While Hunt hasn't been asked to take on a big workload this season, that doesn't mean he can't, and we only have to look back at last year when Pacheco was out injured to see that Kareem can still plow ahead.
He had seven straight games of 14+ carries, and in four of those games, he had 20+, never rushing for fewer than 59 yards, while also rushing for five touchdowns.
So, he can do it, and if Pacheco can't go on Sunday, which feels like a real possibility, it will be Hunt, along with Brashard Smith, who will be tasked with keeping this run game rolling against the Buffalo Bills.
Make no mistake, Hunt is fresh and ready to pound that football if needed.
