Jaguars' Coordinators Give Week 9 Progress Report on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams

That was evident Thursday, with Farwell discussing the team's reaction to the second-year veteran kicker's recent struggles.

"We love him here," Farwell said.

Little this season has converted 10 of 14 field goals and 14 of 15 extra points, missing three of his last six field-goal attempts – including a 50-yard miss in each of the last two games. Little also missed an extra point against the Seahawks.

"It's not his best; obviously, he'd love to have some of those kicks back," Farwell said. "We love what he's done. The bye week came at a perfect time for him, everybody, all our players and coaches, to kind of reset, get back to what you do.

"Cam strikes the ball as good as anybody in the league. He was able to go home to his hometown in Oklahoma City, and kick on his old goalpost, to reach back and the things he does."

Added Farwell, "He's very confident and we're confident in him. Nothing has wavered with him or with us."

Farwell called the recent stretch part of Little's "process as young kicker, a young specialist."
