ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Hawks on Thursday exercised forward Zaccharie Risacher’s third-year contract option for the 2026-27 season, the team announced.
Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Risacher, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 75 games (73 starts) in 2024. He led all rookies in field goal percentage (.458%) and was third in points per game and fourth in three-point percentage (.355%).
Risacher, 20, has been dealing with an ankle injury that has forced him to miss two of Atlanta’s first five games. He’s averaged 8.7 points per game on .400/.300/.750 shooting.
The Hawks next play the Pacers in Indiana on Friday.
