Jalen Green was listed as out with a right hamstring strain ahead of the Phoenix Suns’ game against the Utah Jazz on Friday night, putting his team debut on hold six games into the season.
The offseason acquisition from the Houston Rockets didn’t miss a single regular season contest the last two years but hasn’t been as fortunate thus far in the desert.
Dillon Brooks also appeared as out on the latest Suns injury report, but instead of groin soreness was designated with a core muscle strain.
It will be the third straight missed game for the forward who has averaged 19.3 points (37.3% shooting), 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.3 turnovers in his 30.3 minutes per game.
On the Jazz’s front, forward Georges Niang (foot) was ruled out and has yet to log minutes in a game this season.
