The American has started every Premier League game so far this season, alongside either Alex Scott or Ryan Christie.
Scott has started eight of the nine games while Christie, who was a mainstay of the side last term and was so important to Bournemouth’s success, has started just once – although he has missed two games through injury.

Adams said the competition for places not just in midfield is pushing everyone to be at their best at all times, not just in matches but in training.
He told the Daily Echo: “That's where pressure, competition, it breeds healthy competition should I say, for us to push each other every single week in training.
“And when you have one game a week, it's five days of competition where you're going out there and you're competing.

“And Alex has done unbelievable this season, Ryan, what a player he is, you know what I mean, he came in the game today and made a huge difference for us.
“So, I can't say enough good things about my midfield partners, my midfield competition, whatever you want to call it.
“We just have a lot of good quality players in the team and a lot of good quality guys as well. So, you know, Ryan didn't start today, but he's the first one supporting us, cheering us on.
“That's what you need in a successful team.”
