The forward joined the club from tier two Portsmouth – and has helped the team to an unbeaten start to the campaign, with Bournemouth moving back to the top of the league with that win.
Match report:
Quirk produced a moment of magic in the first half to make it 2-0 to Bournemouth, finding the top corner with a shot from the right-hand corner of the box.
But she insisted that scoring goals is her job.
“As a forward player, you always want to be sticking the ball in the back of the net,” she told the Daily Echo.

“That's your job to do that. And I think, obviously, you've had such good service from the players around me as well. So, [it’s been a] good start.”
Quirk said it was a simple task to settle into what was already a winning side before she arrived.
“It's been unbelievable,” she said.

“Everyone's been so welcoming and warm. I think you can see that in the team, the togetherness of it. It's always been so easy to settle with everyone.”
Quirk has experience in the WSL2 with Pompey – and said the Cherries are already at the level of tier three and potentially tier two, despite never being this high in the pyramid before this season.
“I think the team itself, we were there already,” she said.

“They've been on a winning run before I was here, and I think to just build on that. The level is there already. I don't think I've had to bring too much in terms of that. I think the level is already there.”
That unbeaten run stretches back for more than two seasons in the league – with Quirk praising the side’s winning mindset.
She said: “It's a mentality thing as well - I think to come into that winning mentality is something special.”
